Security at Startup Speed: Join the Live Demo for Founders

As a founder, you’re used to sprinting—toward product-market fit, your next round, or that first enterprise contract.

But with AI accelerating how quickly startups build and ship, security expectations are higher earlier than ever. Getting security and compliance right can unlock growth—or stall it if you wait too long.

That’s why fast-growing startups like LangChain, Writer, and Cursor trusted Vanta to build a scalable foundation from the start.

Vanta gets you audit-ready fast—and keeps you secure with continuous monitoring as your models, infra, and customers evolve.

Join Vanta's Live Demo on July 10 to see the product in action and ask questions in real time.

🔮 Anthropic's Claude can now build AI apps LINK
  • Anthropic now allows Free, Pro, and Max subscribers to build, host, and share their own AI-powered apps directly within the Claude app during beta.
  • Developers can make interactive apps using Claude models, which write code, without separate API costs, as usage is billed to the end user's account.
  • Claude handles technical tasks like error management and enables sharing creations via link, though external APIs access and persistent data storage are currently restricted.
📱 The Trump Phone no longer promises it’s made in America LINK
  • Trump Mobile scrubbed its website of the prominent "MADE IN THE USA" banner for its T1 Phone 8002, a key original selling point.
  • The T1 Phone 8002 is now promoted using vague phrases like "Proudly American" and "American-Proud Design," without clear US manufacturing information.
  • Other features of the T1 Phone 8002 also changed: its advertised 6.78-inch AMOLED screen shrank, 12GB RAM details vanished, and the shipping date slipped.
💬 Meta is adding AI-powered summaries to WhatsApp LINK
  • Meta is adding AI-powered summaries to WhatsApp, where Meta AI condenses unread messages in a chat so only you can see the recap.
  • This optional new feature uses Private Processing technology, ensuring Meta AI generates summaries without Meta or WhatsApp seeing your actual messages or the private summaries.
  • Initially in the U.S. for English, the function is off by default and controlled via a new Private Processing option within WhatsApp chat settings.
⚠️ Scale AI struggled with contractor spam while serving Google LINK
  • Scale AI's "Bulba Experts" program for Google was flooded by "spam" from unqualified contributors submitting "shoddy work", including gibberish and "GPT-generated thought processes".
  • Security protocols at Scale AI showed weaknesses, with Remotasks workers often lacking required advanced degrees and proper vetting for Google’s AI training.
  • Numerous spammers submitting "gibberish" or using ChatGPT for Google's projects still received payment, leading to concerns about the overall data quality.
🧠 Meta’s recruiting blitz claims three OpenAI researchers LINK
  • Lucas Beyer, Alexander Kolesnikov, and Xiaohua Zhai, who established OpenAI’s Zurich office, have now joined Meta’s superintelligence team following its recruiting blitz.
  • This move shows Mark Zuckerberg's personal WhatsApp messages and lavish offers can successfully lure top AI talent, despite Sam Altman's public mockery of these tactics.
  • OpenAI CEO Sam Altman previously said his company's best people hadn't accepted Zuckerberg's offers, a claim now directly challenged by these three new hires.
